News Digest: Bluerock’s real estate fund surpasses $7 billion in net assets

Bluerock Total Income+ Real Estate fund has surpassed $7 billion in net assets, making it the first real estate focused interval fund to pass the milestone. Bluerock Total Income+, which is also the third largest amongst interval funds, had raised close to $3 billion in new equity capital between January and August 2022.
The Total Income+ fund has invested in a diverse portfolio ranging from institutional to private real estate that accounts for approximately $363 billion in underlying institutional real estate equity and debt investments.
The company reported shareholder net returns of 26.55% over the past 12 months and 16.2% YTD where both equity and fixed income securities have been moving southward. As the fund approaches its 10-year anniversary, it has posted positive total returns in each calendar year with an annualized net return being 9.66% since inception.
