News Digest: Survey shows rising investor appetite for private credit

February 25, 2022

News Digest:

Over half of 111 institutional investors surveyed recently by virtual data room provider SS&C Intralinks have revealed an increase in capital allocation to private credit over the last three years, with 59% planning to boost their exposure to the asset class further in the next 36 months.

Takeaway:

The respondents, 60% of whom manage over $1bn in assets, remain also pretty buoyant about the overall debt capital markets, with the average portfolio allocations to this segment jumping from 16% in early 2021 to 36% this year, the survey found.
